mysterious portraits,
an amateur sleuth with an eye for clues...
When Daphne Hale’s wedding photography career hits a setback, she lands a job with her cousin’s tour company. First stop: Paris! She expects to be shooting balconies, baguettes, and bookshops—not tumbling headfirst into a mystery.
At the lavish home of delightfully eccentric art collector Monsieur Renard, the tour group is dazzled by his rare “lover’s eye” portraits. But when Renard suddenly vanishes and clues start popping up around the city, Daphne finds herself caught up in a puzzling (and pastry-fueled) romp through the City of Light.
With a bus-driving retired detective, a sprightly troupe of fellow travelers, and Renard’s charming nephew in the mix, Daphne finds she has a keen eye for bringing clues into focus. Join Daphne for her very first case in Paris—where every picture tells a story.
